Exhibition Label: “C.A. Seward: Artist and Draftsman,” Feb-2010, Kate Meyer In Metal Plate Lithography, Seward’s manual detailing the process of printing lithographs from commercially available plates, the artist shares some of his own experiments with crayons and tusche (a liquid grease medium) in addition to a careful explanation of the printmaking process.
