“C.A. Seward: Artist and Draftsman,” Feb-2010, Kate Meyer
Seward was hired to create a group of lithographs for a Florida real estate promotion. Curiously, he signed these images “Sidney Halward.” This pseudonym, as well as Seward’s exclusive use of an “S” monogram for much of his commercial work, suggests that he viewed these projects as quite separate and distinct from his purely artistic output, although he approached both arenas with the same keen eye for design.
