Brosseau Center for Learning: Centenarians

Craver studied metalwork at the University of Kansas. While working in a military hospital during World War II, Craver became interested in metalworking as occupational therapy, finding that the repetitive movements were useful in rehabilitation. Craver’s workshops, films, and manuals of techniques for instructors were instrumental in the revitalization of silversmithing in the United States.
