Empowerment

Artist and community activist Yelimane Fall gives powerful life to Arabic script and Sufi poetry through color, form, and movement. Describing himself as “The Messenger of Faith,” he uses his art practice to share the anti-colonial ideas of Ahmadou Bamba, a saint, poet, and mystic. Through art, Fall brings healing to communities, particularly with younger generations in and around Dakar, Senegal.
