Hotei, one of the Seven Gods of Good Luck, peers out from this inro in the shape of his ever-present hemp sack. The sack is filled with limitless treasure that he freely gives away. He often appears with a group of boys, or carrying a young boy on his shoulder, as he does on the Kozuka with Hotei and Child.
