Archive label, Ipili exhibit Natural History Museum, 1979:
Netting
This netted bag, used for numerous purposes (carrying utensils, rain shields, smoking pipes, babies, fire making equipment, and so forth), is made by looping together fibers rolled from the inner bark of the matoka tree. The technique of netting is illustrated in the diagrams.
[one of three bags was used; I am not sure if this was the one bag]
