There is much dancing and singing during aboriginal death rites. A didjeridu player usually accompanies the songman. The hollow tube creates a vibrant droning sound when blown, droning through the songman's chant. A didjerdu varies in size and can be up to 10 feet long. The painted design on this instrument features as goanna lizard.
