Exhibition Label: “Big Shots: Andy Warhol, Celebrity Culture and the 1980s,” Aug-2009, Susan Earle Joe Eula was an American fashion illustrator, known for his light, brisk artistic style and involvement with key figures in the fashion world. In 1970, he became creative director for fashion designer Halston. He also designed album covers for Miles Davis and Bette Midler and costumes for choreographer George Ballanchine. He died in 2004.
