Exhibition Label: “Big Shots: Andy Warhol, Celebrity Culture and the 1980s,” Aug-2009, Susan Earle in various capacities from 1968 until Warhol’s death in 1987. With a focus on celebrities, his gallery showed Warhol’s work and that of others in his circle, including Jean-Michel Basquiat and Francesco Clemente, and he produced Warhol’s 1970 film L’Amour. In 1969, Bischofberger co-founded Interview magazine with Warhol and artist Gerard Malanga.
