Exhibition Label: "Machine in a Void: World War I & the Graphic Arts," Mar-2010, Steve Goddard Maufra's portfolio is unusual in its focus on the ecological impact of war-specifically the impact of war on the land. It also includes an important seascape with an image of the Seeadler (Sea Eagle), a German three-masted ship outfitted for battle that sailed under the guise of a Norwegian lumber ship.
