William Donovan has served as Chief Designer for a project, begun in 2005, to construct an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) to be used for remote sensing conducted by CReSIS in Polar Regions. These sketches reveal the evolving design of the aircraft which will be field-tested sometime this year in Greenland or Antarctica. This project represents the most capable un-crewed aircraft for polar research anywhere in the world.
