Exhibition Label: "Cryptograph: An Exhibition for Alan Turing," Mar-2012, Stephen Goddard Russian scientist Alexey Pajitnov used a rack-mounted 64 kb Elektronika 60 computer to develop the electronic tile game TetrisĀ® in Moscow in 1984. For a person well-versed in the game this is not a random pattern but a pattern created by the seven shapes known as Tetriminos (shapes formed by four, connected squares). The player lost the game when the Tetriminos were falling too fast for the player to keep up and move them into a proper, densely packed, winning position. SG
