Exhibition Label: "Rockne Krebs: Drawings for Sculpture You Can Walk Through," Aug-2013, Steve Goddard Krebs made his home in Washington, D.C., in 1964. The monuments of the U.S. Capitol often feature in his drawings of imagined projects. In this case he considers using an airplane to draw the pyramid-shaped summit of the Washington Monument above the obelisk itself.
