Exhibition Label: "Albert Bloch: Prints and Drawings," Jan-2014, Stephen Goddard Ragtime is also the title of one of Bloch’s 1911 paintings, a parody of contemporary life that includes caricatures of Bloch and his brother-in-law. In the printed version seen here, the composition is a reverse of the painted composition.
