Looking After: Art and Care in Education Across Kansas

The frog mummy references the sarcophagus of Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun with a striped headdress, arms crossed at chest, and panels illustrating the Book of the Dead across the body above his green toes. A green frog is a disappointing replacement for the stuffing of an iconic Oreo cookie. Whimsical and imaginative, the ceramic world of David Gilhooly envisions a reality in which frogs invade history, society, and the culinary world.
