“Transformations,” Feb-2006, Mary Dusenbury and Alison Miller
Clothing can be used to identify members of a group as well as to create individual identity. Both of these works show multiple individuals dressed in the same way, one in the festive context of a Japanese temple festival, the other in a show of Russian military power.
