Quilts from the University of Kansas Museum of Art
(No. 3)A pink grid has been imposed on this 19th century quilt, forming squares which are filled by a Nine-patch. Set at an angle, the pattern forms X and diamond shapes according to the arrangement of the dark and light pieces. One block in the lower left has been pieced with even smaller scraps of fabric.
