Exhibition Overview
A leading American feminist artist, Miriam Schapiro has exhibited regularly since the early 1950s. In recent years, as a proponent of the contemporary "pattern painting" movement, she has become internationally known. This exhibition, which originated at the College of Wooster Art Museum, includes 30 large works and 20 smaller works on paper, a testimate to the richness and variety of her work.
