Exhibition Label: "Corpus," Apr-2012, Kris Ercums A golden boy strides forward, transforming swords into implements that till the land. This French academic sculpture references a passage from the Book of Isaiah: “They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.”
