Archive Label date unknown: Yoshitaki, a leading designer of theatrical prints in Osaka, depicts the actor Nakamura Sojuro as Mitsukuni. He glares fearlessly at eight apparitions, one of which stares at him upside down. The ghosts seem comic, curious, frightening, and also somewhat sad, as though they know they can never defeat such a gallant hero.
