Asaina is a character in Japanese legends who had superhuman strength and appears in many plays and stories. This print shows a kite painted like an actor portraying Asaina in a Kabuki play. In Japan, kite festivals take place to celebrate the coming of spring. Recycle materials you can find around where you live into your own kite. How does it fly? Are you feeling heavy or lighter than air today?
