Exhibition Label: "Time/Frame," Jun-2008, Robert Fucci, Shuyun Ho, Lauren Kernes, Lara Kuykendall, Ellen C. Raimond, and Stephanie Teasley For thousands of years artists have created landscapes and seascapes to make sense of their surroundings. In this image Ault attempts to visualize a concept rather than a place.Timescape is a dynamic, fast-paced sequence of lines and shapes. These elements advance and recede just as time approaches and passes quickly. As we consider a duration of time, details are sometimes forgotten or simplified and experiences are abstracted, as they are in this tunnel of color and form.
