Exhibition Label: “C.A. Seward: Artist and Draftsman,” Feb-2010, Kate Meyer In addition to working at Western Lithograph and participating in the Prairie Print Makers together, Courtney and Seward traveled to Comanche County, Kansas, in 1918 on a sketching trip. The two artists also shared a fascination with Native American history and culture.
