Exhibition Label: “Big Shots: Andy Warhol, Celebrity Culture and the 1980s,” Aug-2009, Susan Earle Warhol first met Jon Gould in November 1980, and they had a close relationship for several years. Gould worked at Paramount Pictures and divided his time between New York and Los Angeles. He was a twin, which added to his appeal to Warhol. He died of AIDS in 1986 at age 33.
