Exhibition Label: "Nature/Natural," Jul-2014, Kris Ercums This impressive three-dragon bronze censer was made for the Qingtong Pavilion, which was a sobriquet associated the early Qing period bibliophile, philologist, and prominent bird-and-flower painter Jiang Tingxi 蔣廷錫 (1669–1732), who rose to the rank of Grand Secretary at the Qing imperial court.
