Archive Label 2003: This pattern appeared in Ruby Short McKim’s book One Hundred and One Patchwork Patterns, which was published in 1931 by McKim Studios, a mail-order pattern company in Independence, Missouri. It was also published in the Kansas City Star. Hall’s version of the pattern includes fewer oranges in the basket than McKim’s.
