“The Return of the Sacred Red Rock” tells the story of the rematriation of In’zhúje’wáxobe, a 28-ton boulder sacred to the Kanza people of the Kaw Nation. The film documents the cooperation between community and government officials while following the events surrounding the Red Rock’s relocation. This screening is part of the Free State Festival.
