Matsunaga Daizen, an evil retainer of the shōgun Ashikago Yoshiteru, murdered the famous painter Sesson and stole his magic sword. He also fell in love with Yukihime, the painter's daughter. He ordered the girl to paint a picture for him, and to inspire her, led her to the Kancho Waterfall where a golden dragon appeared when he drew the sword. Yukihime recognized it, realized that Daizen was her father's murderer, and tried to kill him. In this scene from a kabuki paly, Daizen has flung Yukihime to the ground, and she glares at him defiantly.
