Archive Label date unknown: Son of successful shin hanga ("new print") landscape artist Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950), this artist's wirk spans a wide variety of media and subject matter. Toshi Yoshida traveled extensively, making prints of landmarks in the United States, Africa, the Himalayas, Havana, and Australia. He experimented with abstract designs and, like his father, wrote a printmaking handbook.
