Exhibition Label: “C.A. Seward: Artist and Draftsman,” Feb-2010, Kate Meyer Lloyd Foltz’s debt to Seward was such that he humbly proclaimed, “C.A. Seward became my daddy, as far as art is concerned…before 1925, I was only a commercial artist. Seward and Dr. Sandzén and some of his other associates changed me.”
