The Museum's fine collection of more than a hundred quilts has been assembled over the last half century. This exhibition of 18th, 19th, and 20th-century quilts will include examples of major styles and techniques of quiltmaking, including patchwork, applique, and stuffed. A Kansas Quilt Symposium, sponsored by the Kaw Valley Quilters Guild on July 20-22 will be held in conjunction with the quilt exhibit in the Kress gallery.
